How it Works:
To Donate:
- Find a worthy cause from our featured list, search, or
from a friend directing you to their fund drive page.
- Read about the cause. See the amount donated so far, and the goal.
- Click the Donate button.
- Enter an amount, your name, and any message you wish to send.
You may click the anonymous boxes if you wish.
- You will be taken to a secure site to enter your credit card information.
To Start a New Fund Drive:
- If you do not yet have a PFM account, click Register New Account.
You will register a username and password for accessing your fund-drive(s).
This account will allow you to update your fund drive page(s) with messages,
receive funds that have been collected, and to eventually close your fund drive.
We will send a letter to verify your street address. Sign and return it to us.
Your account will then be activated to begin receiving funds.
- Log into your account.
- Click the Start a Fund-Drive link.
You will be taken to a page for entering information about your fund drive.
After entering the information, click the Submit button.
- Your information will be reviewed, and if it is consistent with PFM guidelines,
your funding page will go live, and you will receive an email within 24 hours.
- You can attract donors to your funding page by emailing friends and family,
with the
link we will provide you.
- You can visit your page any time to see the amount of funds raised so far,
as well as
messages left by donors.
- Once funds accumulate, log into your account to initiate either a check to your
address,
or a direct transfer to your bank account.
Limitations:
- Collected funds presently can only be sent to bank accounts held in the USA,
and/or to phyical street addresses in the USA. (No PO Boxes.)
- Minimum donation amount = $1 (US)
- Donations can only be made by Credit Card at the present time.
- Donations are not refundable.
- PFM reserves the right to review and accept or deny establishing, or to terminate,
any account or fund-raiser for any reason at any time.
